Performed and recorded entirely spontaneously using the wondrous Oberheim OB-E synthesizer.

This is the story of an astronaut. His ship develops a fault and he's asked to go "outside" by Mission Control.

He's stressed, anxious. His first time in the void.

As he grips the outside of the ship, his anxiety triggers a profound out of body experience.

He watches himself, the Earth and his ship as a backdrop. Aware of his breathing, but aware he is outside of his own body in the most profound of circumstances.

He becomes aware of the majesty of it all, relaxes as he ponders this experience - and slips back into his body, clinging to the ship. Breathing hard, he returns inside, removes his helmet and sits with his head in his hands.
